The Regional Recruitment Coordinator, under direction of the Director of Recruitment and Enrollment Services, provides leadership and support to regional recruitment and enrollment specialists and has operational oversight of recruitment and enrollment related initiatives and activities within the specified region. Develops positive relationships with representatives from independent school districts, community colleges, and other community stakeholders to promote A&M-Central Texas and achieve recruitment goals for the assigned region.

Regional assignment will primarily be within the Williamson County area. Duties of this position may report to Austin Community College (Primary), Alamo Colleges District (Secondary), Early College High Schools in the surrounding areas and other locations in the Greater Austin region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans, executes, and assesses undergraduate and graduate recruitment strategies, activities, and events within assigned region to support enrollment goal attainment. Conducts presentations to various constituencies within assigned region.

  • Provides leadership and supervision to regional recruitment and enrollment specialist(s). Assesses performance of assigned staff based on institutional standards to ensure high-quality service. Provide training and coaching on initiatives and best practices to support effective recruitment efforts.

  • Maintain positive relations and collaborate with university departments and key influencers to promote the institution and support recruitment within assigned region, including but not limited to representatives from independent school districts, community colleges, municipal organizations, and local businesses.

  • Engages prospective students, applicants, and admits through a variety of communication mediums in accordance with established plans increase qualified applicants and improve enrollment yield. Maintain records related to engagements and contact with prospective students, applicants, and admits in the CRM.

  • Assist with the collection, maintenance, evaluation, and reporting of regional recruitment and enrollment related data associated with student records, activities, and events.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in applicable field.

  • Experience - Four years of related experience in recruitment.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master's degree.

  • Three years' of recruitment or relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of admissions policies and procedures, enrollment goals, university facts, knowledge of recruitment market, and proficient use of admissions and recruitment technology. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Ability to manage, multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding. Able to drive with a valid driver's license. Ability to learn and utilize customer relationship software.

  • Physical Requirements - Able to pick up 50 pounds box of materials.

Salary: $47,158

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm; night and weekends as needed.

Supervision of Others: This position will supervise regional staff in the assigned area.

Work Location: This position may require frequent travel for meetings and/or training. This is not a remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work on campus.
