Purpose Statement

The RPM manages the LC Plates business in his allocated territory. The RPM is also an expert for the products and processes and provides technical guidance and support to the Sales Organization. The RPM identifies market potential, trends and maintains Customer Installed Basen. The RPM ensures that an adequate strategic plan is established and followed with the various internal and external stakeholders. The RPM interacts within the Andritz organization and directly with customers as required to fulfil the business objectives.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the profitability and growth of the competitive equipment product line to include but not limited to:

  • Directly responsible for the Order Intake Growth in the assigned territory (bring technology and value to our customers) according to the targets defined by the Regional Product Director and in alignment with the Regional Sales Management.
  • Maintains & updates the Installed Base within the common ANDRITZ Tools, including market-share, Total Potential, etc.
  • Develops Key Account Strategies and Budgets per mill, and follows-up with Field Sales routinely (change/modify as required)
  • Provides Technical and Commercial Support (incl. training) for the Field Sales and is in charge for the product and the application
  • Provides feedback to the Regional and Global Team leader regarding R&D, competitor's activities, etc.
  • Utilizes the defined ANDRITZ communication and other product and application tools.
  • This position reports to the Regional Product Director for the Region.
Education, professional experience and qualification preferred/required
  • Technical degree in Engineering or Sciences or minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Direct Pulp & Paper industry experience is preferred and experience in refining and stock preperation will be a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Travel to mills / customers required; participate in service work and system optimization as required. Expected Travel - 60-80%
  • Ability to help identify customer needs, build new customer base, and maintain relationships for future business.
  • High capacity of strategic, logical, and methodical thinking, and independent decision making skills for mechanical problem solving.
  • Must be organized, able to manage time, prioritize and the ability to work independently.
  • Comply with all Company policies, procedures, regard confidentiality and safety requirements.
  • Represent Company interests and be sensitive to customer satisfaction (understand sense of urgency and importance of follow-up).
Physical and Mental Qualifications

Position performed in an office and/or remote home office) environment. Frequent visits to mills and manufacturing facilities are required. Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment. All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
