We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter, who understands the importance of sourcing/attracting talent to join our Services Distribution & Digital (SD&D) Team as Talent Acquisition Partner .

This role would provide recruiting support to our business partners in the Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) of Caterpillar. Our team provides recruiting support for hourly production, support and warehouse roles across the United States. This position provides expertise and leads the entire hiring cycle, including developing a recruiting strategy, sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and providing a best-in- class experience for candidates.

What You Will Do:

  • Consult hiring managers, facility leaders and HR managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization by leveraging data to drive decision-making.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, making offers, managing the pre-employment process and communicating orientation and start date plans for new employees.
  • Utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools and sourcing tools
  • Develop and proactive, recruiting strategies to attract and talent pipelines
  • Utilizing industry leading sourcing technologies to deliver the most qualified candidates for current roles and building strong candidate pipelines for future roles.
  • Developing plans for sourcing and attracting diverse candidates
What You Will Have :

(Basic Qualifications)
  • Staffing and Recruiting :
    • Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.
    • Ability to facilitate an effective recruiting intake/strategy call to develop an understanding of hiring manager needs
    • Ability to prepare tools, record-keeping, and reports for applicant tracking.
    • Research common processes and techniques to source qualified candidates.
    • Ability to apply effective candidate selection techniques for a specific recruiting task
  • Relationship Management:
    • Understands the importance of establishing effective relationships.
    • Provides prompt and effective responses to client requests and interactions.
    • Monitors customer and candidate satisfaction levels on a regular basis.
    • Alerts own team to problems in client satisfaction and develops solutions
    • Works with candidates, hiring managers and/or peers to address critical issues and resolve major problems.
  • Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of awareness of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
  • Candidate Screening:
    • Knowledge of techniques, methods and processes for candidate screening
    • Ability to preselect suitable candidates for first and further interviews within the organization.
    • Files and maintains compliant records of candidate information.
    • Exchanges candidate and job information with hiring managers.
    • Reviews candidates' resumes and cover letters from both professional and personal aspects.
  • Candidate Sourcing:
    • Knowledge of effective techniques, methods and channels of candidate sourcing (active and passive candidates)
    • Knowledge of how to attract and qualify candidates for immediate job vacancies or as potential long-term job candidates.

(Preferred Qualifications)
  • Recruitment Channel Management:
    • Experience recruiting for high-volume positions in multiple locations
    • Knowledge of various recruitment channels (e.g., computer databases, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms and employee referrals) and the the benefit, selection, implementation, and operation of each.
    • Ability to use appropriate channels to achieve objectives of organizational talent strategy.
    • Follows guidelines and standards in the process of recruitment channel selection.
    • Ability to analyze the effectiveness of different recruitment channels (e.g. corporate websites, recruiting firms, Internet job sites) in job vacancy recruiting.
  • Workforce Analytics: Knowledge of workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.
