We are currently seeking a Reality Capture Technician for our Technology and Innovation team.

Pay: 52,000 - 75,000

REALITY CAPTURE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform field LIDAR scanning
• Coordinate project scope with project managers and plan scanning to ensure project scope is achieved
• Assist with technical strategies and continuous improvement of operations focusing on safety, procedures, quality control, pricing, and solutions to improve performance and maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients on data quality and acquisition scheduling.
• Document procedures and record results with precision and accuracy.
• Periodically work hands-on with UAS systems and lidar equipment, including assembly, disassembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Verify the accuracy of acquired data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Lifting requirements 50-100 lb.

Additional Responsibilities and Duties:

• Willingness to travel extensively (overnight stays based on supported projects) to various US-based locations.
• Comfortable with outdoor work environment subject to hot/cold temperatures and uneven terrain.
• Desire to innovate and solve complex problems from inception to final deliverable.
• Other duties as assigned.

REALITY CAPTURE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:

Education:

• High school diploma required; some college preferred
• 6 months or more of field experience preferred but not required
• Willing to obtain FAA Part 107 drone pilot license

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with iOS, Android, and Windows Operating Systems on both desktop and mobile environments
• Experience with and desire to troubleshoot electronic equipment, software, and technology
• Ability to react quickly and calmly to high-pressure situations
• Data entry skills
