About the job

Our team is adding a brand-new Quality Development Manager to our lineup, and we'd like to hear from you! This role is responsible for planning, documenting, coordinating, and directing continuous improvement quality assurance and control programs. We are seeking an experienced engineer to join us, reporting to the Director of Service Operations in the US Service organization.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Develop quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate goals and implement plans and strategies to achieve those objectives.
  • Interpret quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in the organization.
  • Direct activities to ensure compliance with all quality requirements that are imposed by standards that are relevant
  • Coordinate the claim process for USA Sales Company
  • Map end to end process for Service Operations jobs, identify process gaps and efficiency improvement areas
  • Drive Lean Methodology Initiatives within the repair organization

ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENTS

Reports to the Director Service Operations in the US Service organization.

Working relationship with all roles within Operations, Sales, Suppliers, Regulatory agencies, customers, and 3rd party inspection agencies

Must be self-reliant in initiating and completing multiple tasks. Skilled in developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to work Independently as self-starter and finisher is critical to success in this role.

What you know
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred or commensurate experience.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies, Black/Green Belt Certification preferred.
  • Quality assurance process experience in a service environment
  • Prior experience in a role supporting technical, equipment, and service personnel.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes Desired in Candidate:
  • Quality Assurance principles and systems
  • ISO9001 system
  • Measurement systems
  • Six Sigma tools and methodologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ASME Pressure Vessel Code knowledge preferred
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

25-30% travel to visit service centers within the US may be required to observe processes and make recommendations for improvement or standardization.
