We have an opening in our Psychiatric Occupational Therapy team for a per diem OT therapist. This role will focus on the following areas:
- perform OT evaluations and assessments
- establishes treatment goals with patient input
- establishes treatment plans
- applies Occupational Treatment to patients
- documents and communicates necessary information
- delegates and supervises patient's treatments to Assistants
- delegates and supervises patient and nonpatient related tasks to support personnel
- collaborates with other disciplines to provide coordinated, interdisciplinary care
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be entry level and have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensed, CPR certification, knowledge of behaviors of adult population and mental health.
Must have 1+ years experience working in mental health and flexibility covering weekday and weekends.
