Tuknik Government Services, is hiring an Experienced Program Manager support TGS and supporting the Training Division at FBI or other DoD agencies. The ideal candidate Will have experience supporting training project management, training delivery, instructional design, and technical courseware development. Experience with enterprise software development projects with eLearning, Virtual Academy and familiarity with training/course development.

Position Overview:

This position is for a Project Manager to support the FBI's Training Division by applying information technology solutions to their business processes. This project manager would be responsible for managing the Agile development process for a team of software developers and business analyst and guide them on proper implementation of Agile/Scrum practices. Work with customers to ensure overall success of project deliverables. This includes participating in daily SCRUM sessions, grooming the backlog, building project schedules, leading sprint planning sessions, and ensuring the overall quality of the final product.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Project manage Agile development lifecycle.
  • Manage complex initiatives across multiple functions and integrated teams.
  • Establish project milestones, scope, requirements, and schedules.
  • Monitor projects and report progress to executives.
  • Coordinating and facilitating communication and status meetings with stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Ensuring project is compliant with Agency, FBI, and federal policies, including IT security.
  • Managing project scope and risk management activities.
  • Supporting Portfolio and Investment activities, including developing performance metrics, acquisition plans, operational analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining budget and tracking funding.
  • Providing weekly, and monthly project reporting in a timely manner, and providing all needed materials requested on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Reviewing program and project deliverables to ensure accuracy, alignment with the contract, and quality assurance and that the final outputs from the vendor meet the program needs according to the main users (Specialists).
  • Outlining key functional requirements and conveying those requirements to vendors and integrated project team during each sprint/release.

Requirements

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • PMP or other relevant certification
  • 5 years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple IT projects and prioritize duties based on shifting demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to plan and oversee projects using project management software tools and methodologies
  • Ability to schedule, plan and lead meetings
Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
