Specific Role Responsibilities:

  • Management of office staff
  • Management of submittal, RFI generation and submission.
  • Quality control and Safety records tracking
  • Assist in schedule development, monitoring and updating
  • Preparing client billing and notification documentations
  • Forecasting project costs and providing reporting
  • Processing vendor payments and preparing monthly accruals
  • Quantity tracking and reporting
  • Change order, and Subcontract development
A successful candidate will have:
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 5
  • Minimum Higher Education: Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Software skills necessary for success:
    • Microsoft Suite
    • PDF Viewer(i.e. Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam)
    • Navisworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities
  • Ability to manage and lead teams
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of HVAC, mechanical systems and the Boston construction industry
  • Thorough knowledge of MA building codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, ASME) as they relate to HVAC.
  • The Massachusetts public bidding laws and estimating capabilities are a plus.
