Position Purpose:The Program Manager plans, executes, and manages the Magnuson Center DEV Studio, including the physical space, programs and projects for students, faculty, co-curricular workshops, and curricular integrations. Provides general mentorship and support to maximize learning and achievement potential by acting as an easily approachable, experienced, and versatile guide through all aspects of the design, prototyping, and production process.

Description:Project Management - Mentors and provides support for DEV Studio projects from ideation through production stages across all tracks including software and design, data science, animation, and physical product design and/or fabrication when needed.

Description:Co-Curricular Program Development - Develops and offers a portfolio of educational programming, including workshops, events, internships, and mentorship for Dartmouth community stakeholders interested in makerspace-related topics, including ideation, concept development, digital electronics and mechanical design, and hands-on demonstrations in a wide variety of technologies and tools.

Description:Campus Partnership and Program Support - Develops and maintains a broad network of campus partners and resources. Creates and offers a process for campus partners to accelerate existing programs and projects and/or identify new opportunities. Works closely with Magnuson Center partners to co-develop programs and support projects.

Description:Operations and Equipment Management - Ensures that business operations are efficient and effective. Supervises and organizes student hourly staff to help run programming and maintain the physical space. Evaluates program administration and delivery processes, recommending changes, creating processes or systems as needed, and managing relevant vendors. Conducts program evaluations and sponsorship reporting and processing.
