Nordson MEDICAL designs, engineers and manufactures complex devices and components with applications in wound healing, surgical and minimally invasive, fluid management, pulmonology and interventional and structural heart. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Must be able to work under direct supervision and take work instruction from Supervisor and Leads, work cooperatively and productively within a team environment.

Ability to do repetitive tasks, Detail-Oriented and adherence to Nordson's Safety Policy

Read, Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures without deviating from the outlined process after training has been completed.

Ability to work on Development Department process steps with limited Technician oversight

Ability to operate Reflow, Ovens, UV Bonder, Razor Blades, basic measurement tools (ex. Rulers, Calipers, and Pin Gauges, etc.) and perform intermediate equipment inspections (Laser micrometer and leak testers)

Ability to use intermediate assembly tools and equipment (ex. Skiver, Vante tipping machine and braider). Intermediate mechanical skills (ex. Braid cut back/trimming, coil twisting, markerband placement etc.)

Takes initiative to help out on operations where needed

Consistently meets attendance, quality, safety and productivity expectations

Education and Experience Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

Experience: 6 months - 1 Year equivalent Medical Device experience (i.e. catheter, implantable)

Working experience in a FDA or ISO regulated and High level of understanding and compliance with Cleanroom Environment, Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices

Dexterity and Attention Detail is a must Have

Proficient in minimum 2-3 core processes for catheter assembly (internal applicants only)

Medical Device (i.e. Catheter, Implantable)

Working experience in a FDA or ISO regulated

Ability to use intermediate assembly tools and equipment (ex. Skiver, Vante tipping machine and braider). Intermediate mechanical skills (ex. Braid cut back/trimming, coil twisting, markerband placement etc.)

Ability to sit frequently, stand, walk and bend
