Volt is hiring for a manufacturing company in Santa Maria, CA.

General Responsibilities:

• Responsible for following the site safety rules and actively participates on the site safety committee including weekly safety tailgates and completing training.
• Executes site secured procedures and reports any unsafe condition or security breach immediately to Supervisor.
• Completes daily equipment Checklist and ensures machine and other equipment and tools are in good working order. Reports any unsafe condition and required repairs to Make-up Shed Supervisor immediately.
• Inspects Made-up box for any damage or defects and report immediately to Supervisors.
• Safely collate Made-up box and bundle tie unit.
• Position Pallets as required at load forming station.
• Place bundle tied units onto to pallets to spec.
• Place any pallet tag on pallet as required.
• Executes quality standards for made-up box spec and responsible to report any damage to product, equipment or building immediately to Supervisor.
• Work with Supervisor and maintenance to ensure machines are set up properly and achieving performance targets for quality, speed, glue application and waste.
• Responsible to maintain Good Housekeeping practices for equipment, workspace, breakroom and locker/restrooms, etc.
• Support Operator position as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $16.00
