Product Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for contributing to the full product lifecycle management which includes ensuring the product is of high quality and meets the profitable goals of the company. Serves as a resource and interface to key internal stakeholders and defined product groups.

Essential Duties:

  • Lead an agile software development team as a Product Owner (SAFe)
  • Plan and prioritize the team product backlog and development for the product
  • Conduct market research (e.g. competitive analysis and market sizing), analysis and provide recommendations on path forward
  • Create and manage product documentation of assigned company products, ensuring there are effective sales and marketing tools available
  • Maintain a baseline understanding of the company's products and strategic roadmap
  • Communicate with development teams to accurately define the company's products and the requirements necessary to maximize the benefits of those products
  • Maintain deep understanding of assigned company products, advocating for their most efficient use and maximizing product potential

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required.
  • Equivalent experience can substitute for degree.

Experience:
  • Typical candidate will have 3-5 years in a product management, software engineering or similar role is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes, principles, and software required. Scrum and/or SAFe certification and experience with Jira a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.
