The Product Manager functions as the key corporate leader to expand sales, increase profitability, and manage market share globally for the Premium Sputtering Targets (Non-Precious Metals) product portfolio.

You Will Have the Opportunity To:

• Lead and develop the product strategy based on strong market trends, including the creation, deployment and maintenance of product playbooks.
• Tasks include, but not limited to, maximizing global asset utilization, streamlining product rationalization, enhancing new product development, directing project management and driving pricing management across all accounts.
• Utilize personal industry knowledge and contacts to expand company's sales in defined market. Ensure sales plan is consistent with overall marketing plans for growth.
• Solve customer problems through interface with technical engineering service, operations, quality assurance, and customer service.
• Manage sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
• Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological and competitive factors to capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate competitive responses.
• Together with the Marketing Communications specialist, develop the overall marketing communications strategy for all products and/or services including suggestions for trade shows, conferences, digital platforms, and product information.
• Build business cases for CapEx and capacity plans to deliver on long-term growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Undergraduate degree in a technical, material science or engineering field or equivalent experience
• Post-graduate degree in marketing, business, finance, or a technical field strongly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of product management, operations and/or marketing experience
• Working knowledge or leadership of an organizational Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet for a manufacturing company
• Experience in one or more of the following Electronic markets: Semiconductors, Hard Disk Drives, Radio or Microwave Devices, Solder or Braze alloys, or related products

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
