Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $125,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
We are seeking a Senior R&D Engineer to lead the coordination and execution of new product development initiatives at our Maple Grove, MN client. This pivotal role involves collaborating with customers and internal teams to bring innovative product solutions to life. This role will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to product commercialization, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to coordinate new product development projects.
• Evaluate high-level design requirements to align with core competency and vision.
• Translate product requirements into manufacturable designs, working closely with CAD designers.
• Determine Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage supply chain relationships for pricing and sourcing.
• Assist in proposal development and cost modeling for management review.
• Generate comprehensive documentation supporting product development and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct component and device testing, and contribute to the writing of test reports.
• Assist in the development of plans for process validation and equipment qualification.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal protocols.
• Provide support in addressing product complaints and safety issues.
• Collaborate with various departments to facilitate pilot production of new products.
• Transfer engineering projects into manufacturing as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: While this role does not involve direct reports, the Senior R&D Engineer will provide guidance to technicians and operators during builds and testing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
