Support the retail and commercial success of the Interstate All Battery Center stores through strategic analysis, execution, and communication of retail and B2B pricing strategies. A successful candidate for this role is a go-getter who takes initiative to drive change and seek out creative solutions. Strong communication skills are a must.

• Review and analyze market pricing and make recommendations for new and existing products sold through All Battery stores and commercial selling groups
• Analyzes sales history and conducts competitive pricing research
• Reviews and analyzes dealer and distributor pricing prepared by Support Center for the purpose of pricing new and existing products sold through All Battery stores
• Determine the impact of pricing actions in advance and estimate price elasticity (e.g. volume, profitability, product mix) using scenario and what-if analysis
• Demonstrate a focus on store profitability and gross margin return on inventory investment
• Adjusts retail and commercial level pricing as markets or demand shift
• Research and correct errors detected on exception reports
• Maintain records of special price exceptions and "deal/discount" rationale.
• Research trends, opportunities, and competitors to improve pricing strategies and the customer experience within assigned product categories.
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams and partner effectively with them to drive and develop category-specific pricing strategies
• Collaborate with Marketing and Products teams to develop and execute retail and commercial promotional strategies
• Provide various other analyses as required by managers, directors, and executives
• Analyze sales data and make suggestions for product pricing strategies to maximize gross profit margins in both retail and commercial sales channels
• Provide business insights such as product analysis, market trends, customer behavior, seasonality, and inventory analysis
• Utilize business intelligence tools and other market inputs to analyze pricing data
• Participate in the preparation of price sheets as necessary
• Regularly communicate changes in pricing and strategy to internal and external customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
• Bachelor's degree in business management, math, accounting, finance, or statistics preferred
• Minimum three years pricing and/or retail merchandising related experience
• Prior Retail or Commercial products background preferred
• Highly proficient in the utilization of MS Excel. Advanced skill level preferred.
• Experience with business reporting and analytical tools. Tableau creator experience is a plus.
• Experience with SAP/Fiori a bonus
• Experience with learning new data tools and working with new data sets
• Superior analysis, problem solving, and time managements skills
• Detail oriented and accurate with large amounts of data
• Well organized, sense of urgency, able to juggle multiple projects and accustomed to tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
