Plant Manager

Location: Norman, OK
Salary: $120,000.00 USD Annually - $135,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Plant Manager for their smaller Food Manufacturing facility near Norman OK. This facility just benefited from some recent capital upgrades. The plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the facility while promoting continuous improvement through strong leadership. The Plant Manager will provide overall direction in the areas of Production, Planning, Quality & Food Safety Compliance along with managing the Site KPI's, Budget & EBITA as to drive increased plant performance.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• • Lead the facility in establishing and meeting continuous improvement objectives
  • Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
  • Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
  • Promote all Safety, Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures while supporting their continuous improvement efforts.
  • Foster a well-trained and motivated team by encouraging and supporting the development of all plant employees
• Provide operational and employee leadership to the facility
• Assist executive management with budgeting, production statistics, cost analysis, justification of capital expenditures and asset management.
• Responsible for implementing and reporting of plant KPI's

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred
• 5-7+ years' experience in Management role - Food / Beverage / CPG manufacturing preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and abilities
• Working knowledge of production equipment & processes
• Foundational knowledge or background with Quality / Food Safety Systems
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5s, Kaizens (Process Improvements)
