This is a fully travel position. Physician will travel to remote locations to perform DBQs onsite.

The Judge Group is seeking qualified Medical Physicians (MDs, Dos) to join our provider network as an independent contractor to perform general medical disability examinations for Veterans.

Job Description:

•Physician will arrange and let client how many day/s per month they are available to travel urgent testing sites

•Client will tell physician where they are traveling throughout the country to administer DBQ Exams

•Client will assist and help facilitate travel to the areas.

•All airfare, rental car, hotel and food per GSA will be reimbursement to the physician

•Will be administering & completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to veterans

•As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations.

Qualifications

Physician

•Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine

•An active and unrestricted license

•2 years of practice experience (preferred)

•Fully paid and reimbursable travel expenses

•Flexibility to determine how many days per month you are open to travel (weekends are an option)

•Open to candidates specializing in: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc., or individuals with a general medicine background

•Examinations primarily consist of interviews, supplemented with some physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.

•Low Risk - No treatment or prescription of medications involved.

•Rapid credentialing & onboarding process. Most providers can commence work within 2-3 weeks of receiving an offer, with paid training included.

•Training provided by the VA/VES remains valid for 5 years.

•Comprehensive training will cover all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
