What You'll Do

• The Physical Security Assistant assists in the enforcement of corporate policies, guidelines, procedures, and rules applicable to the conduct of team members and guests while on the premises. This position takes an active role in securing the workplace while assisting and directing guests. This position is responsible for providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at our Headquarters building.
• Provide Physical Security presence at the front desk to provide team members and guests with direction and assistance in welcoming, professional manner upon arrival and departure, making eye contact and speaking to them directly.
• Assist with creation and distribution of guest/visitor ID badges.
• Execute effective visitor management including checking guests into the building, verifying visit and tracking exits.

• Maintain awareness of events going on within the building to ensure access is provided to the appropriate individuals.

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Two years of security-related experience required with the ability to maintain sound judgement and objectivity and professionalism in potentially stressful situations.
• Ability to de-escalate incidents.
• First Aid Certification to be maintained during employment.
• Demonstrates competency and/or ability to learn computerized security technologies (identity, access and alarm management, and surveillance systems)
• CPL and registered firearm documents
• Knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
• Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
