The Operations Superintendent is responsible for leading the plant manufacturing operation. The Superintendent plans the efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials to safely produce products at the lowest cost, while meeting quality and delivery objectives.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Lead the manufacturing operations.
- Lead & develop operations supervisors.
- Monitor overhead costs and manufacturing direct variable costs.
- Manage hourly staffing requirements.
- Develop & manage goals and objectives for the department.
- Promotes a total employee involvement model
- Lead EH&S initiatives and tactical implementations
Education / Experience:
BS in Engineering or similar field and 3 + Years supervisory experience or
Associates Degree with appropriate manufacturing supervisory experience exceeding 5 years or
Significant demonstrated manufacturing supervisory experience exceeding 5 years with prior supervisory experience gained through increasingly responsible positions in a manufacturing facility.
