Operations Assistant

Las Cruces, New Mexico

Job Objective: Assist with operational support and deliver outstanding customer service and project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.


  • Monitor on-site tank farm
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: copying, faxing, mailing and filing
  • Arrange LTL (Less Than Truck Load) orders for deliver
  • Review open backorder report
  • Communicate inbound schedule for package and bulk product
  • Transcribe emails and other communications dictated by management
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system
  • Type, file and copy correspondences
  • Coordinate Live Meetings / Webinars as needed
  • Manage other tasks (ongoing or project) as deemed necessary by management
  • Perform general administrative duties and support for Management Team
  • Work on special projects as needed


  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service
  • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependable with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Customer-focused & proficient relationship builder
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to explore and learn other software applications
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Typing skills 60 w.p.m.
  • Poise and maturity to interact with RelaDyne management and other company executives
  • Change champion
