Our processing capabilities include an automobile shredder, balers, shears, mobile shearing, torch processing, auto crushers, and extensive transportation services.

TPR is looking for a self-motivated candidate to fill our Office Coordinator position in our Houston Port location. Responsibilities include:
  • Properly follow company, DOT, and OSHA safety procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform general office administration duties to include answering phones, processing paperwork, preparing and sending FedEx & UPS packages, ordering supplies and other similar duties
  • Calculate payment amount, prepares and issues payment to commercial customers, ACH customers and third party freight reconciliation
  • Quote metal prices within a range supplied by management and/or verify correct pricing Receive calls and coordinate dispatching of company drivers
  • Assist with month-end closing documents and regular auditing of position related forms
  • Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications for our Office Coordinator include:
  • Two years' experience with general office duties (i.e., phones, customer service, ordering supplies)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service and handling multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and time management skills
  • Computer experience, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and the ability to learn in house systems
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Flexible to work off hours, weekends, holidays in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work standing or walking for long periods of time
  • Bilingual: Spanish Speaking strongly preferred
  • Experience in ferrous and nonferrous material grading preferred
  • Experience in transportation or dispatch preferred
