Introducing the first in the area, Advance Practice Provider Surgicalist team. This team is a subdivision of our already well established General and Multi-specialty Surgical Team. Our surgicalist team provides outstanding surgical excellence and expertise across wide range of surgical fields. We are devoted to serving our diverse surgical populations with our high quality care, knowledge, and excellent collaborative relationships with our surgeons.

Our APP surgicalist team affords several set schedule options that provide excellent options for managing a modern lifestyle while being able to provide extraordinary care to our vast array of surgical patients. Our surgicalist team is the only surgery team in the area that is composed of only APPs and is lead and managed by direct APP leadership.

This team is focused on a personalized orientation model that is evidence-based and utilizes contemporary education/CE systems to promote dynamic learning and continuing education. This team promotes addition on-going leadership and mentorship for those APPs looking to advance their career into leadership roles as well.

Schedule options include:

  • Set Day, Evening, or Night shifts- with no rotations and no call
  • Full-time, partial full-time, part-time options
  • Late Morning start time
  • 6 days on 8 days off
  • 7 days on 7 days off
  • Value for Time Schedule (Our newest, great value schedule option!)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Nurse Practitioner: Current New York State RN license; experience in pertinent areas of nursing practice; graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program; Master's Degree in Nursing; National certification as Nurse Practitioner.
  • Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program, Master's Degree; National certification as Physician Assistant or eligible.
  • New York State practice license or eligible
  • DEA eligible, but not required
