JOB SUMMARY

Focuses onapplying, coordinating and conducting technicalkey initiatives for theNGLreliability program, maintenance work process (MWP), mechanical integrity & RBI program, relief valve program, warehousing processes, equipment health monitoring for DCP. Works closely with theOperational leadersto implement the strategies and initiatives to improve reliability, drive workforce efficiency, maintain compliance and reduce overall risk for DCP.Coordinateswith the operations leadershipto ensure alignment and successful adoption of these critical processes and programs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Works closely with theregionalleadershipand the operations organization toapplythe reliability, maintenance work process,overhaul program,relief valve and mechanical integrity strategies forthe company
  • Developsandimplementscompany procedures, maintenance methods and processes to improve equipment reliability and drive compliance
  • Assists inthe development, tracking and analysis of metrics to assess and report the status of preventive and predictive programs, to assess equipment condition relative to safety and serviceability, and to monitor and improve on equipment downtime and maintenance costs
  • Leads effort to engage experts and internal resources to determine root cause of major rotating equipment failures
  • Represents reliability in numerous companywide/multidepartment initiatives
  • Participates in developing job scopes and defining job plansfor large projects, to assure efficient work processes. Assures materials and equipment are available before associated Work Order is scheduled
  • Generatesand maintainsall equipment Routine Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance repetitive procedures
  • Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering,Technical Field, orBusinessor a similar degree field and/or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of2years related experience is required although employees typically have3-7years; oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • 2years experiencein reliability or maintenance management associated with refining, petrochemical processing, and/or gasgatheringand compression is required
  • Ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
  • Strong technical skills in maintenance and reliability engineering
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to travel frequently and work in the office as well as in plants and in the field

SPECIAL DEMANDS
  • This job operates in amixbetweenan office environment and plant/field environmentand routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Outside plant conditions can include inclement weather, heat and humidity; noise levels can vary from low toloud at times. Prolonged periods of stationary, sitting positions are required, along with regularstoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 3 minutes. Regularly moves about inside the office/plant to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine and/or file cabinets, which requires pulling/pushing doors open to get from one area to the other. Occasionally may lift and carry objects between 20 to 50 pounds and exert pulling force of 130 pounds. Occasionally may climb A-frame ladders.
  • Occasional travel will be required
