Planning and Execution: Lead integrated execution of the site operational plan ensuring maximum profitability through optimization of production, maintenance activities, and product / raw material decisions. Provide key insights to site and Concentrates leadership on longer range budget and strategy development, balancing site, and business unit goals. Facilitate implementation of IOC continuous improvement efforts by driving effectiveness of management systems. Serve as a mentor for IOC staff and make tactical decisions on deployment of resources in a general interest fashion.

Site / Functional / Business Alignment and Collaboration: Responsible for development, implementation and sustainability of an IOC governance model that ensure roles/responsibilities are defined across operating areas and functions to fully leverage the synergies of the integrated business. Examples include leading the consistent application of a change management and communication strategy, catalyzing the implementation of NextGen technology applications, and prioritizing deployment of strategic initiatives plus best practices. Serve as the site advocate in the routine business planning activities that optimize integrated profitability from mine to customer.

Regulatory Compliance: Learn, understand, and maintain fluency in requirements of RCRA consent decree to effectively support the facility RCRA CD program from an Operations perspective. Provide support for site leadership in implementing and achieving full RCRA CD compliance at the facility level, working directly with affected process areas and having primary focus on BMP Program effectiveness. Collaborate with Environmental support group on RCRA related compliance, CD reporting and other routine RCRA program requirements as needed. Perform related compliance audits and proactively address gaps.

Continuous Improvement: Provide oversight, coordination and facilitation of all IOC related continuous improvement activities using the agile process including Retrospective programs, sprint planning, grooming sessions, backlog management, and stand-up sessions. Role includes removal of team obstacles, empowering solutioning, monitoring key leading indicators/metrics, and actively communicating progress against goals. Coordinate efforts with other IOC managers to ensure rapid best practice sharing/deployment.

Minimum 10 years relevant industrial experience; demonstrated leadership and management experience with an understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
Minimum 3 years creating and executing continuous improvement, project management and change management activities that drive organizational results and change.

Preferred 5+ years' experience creating and executing activities that drive organizational results and change.
