The Team

Our Primary Care practice is located within the Cummings Center in Beverly, MA and is open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. As a Family Medicine office, we provide physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for patients of all ages Monday through Friday. Phlebotomy and X-ray services are offered onsite, and various specialties round through, including Cardiology, Endocrinology, Nutrition, OBGYN, and Transgender Health.

The Opportunity

Our Medical Assistants partner with and work alongside a physician or advanced practice provider. Responsibilities include:

  • Functioning as a "flow manager"/ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
  • Assisting the Provider and/or Nurse with patient care during the office visit (examination, procedures, and treatments as directed)
  • Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (phone triage, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)
  • Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
  • Providing an exceptional care experience by interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.
The Medical Assistants within this site are part of a pod structure so you will be working with a familiar team each day. In this environment, you can get to know the patients better, and allows for an efficient and supportive experience!

Qualifications
Required

• Completion of a formal, post-secondary clinical training program (ex. Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Nursing Assistant) OR Matriculation in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in nursing (RN).

Preferred

• Certificate, Diploma or Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited program

• National Medical Assistant Certification

• 2 years of ambulatory experience in a physician's office setting

• Family Medicine/Primary Care experience
