What we need:

To assemble, label, and pack orders according to order request for order completion.

What you'll do:

  • Assemble planks of hard surface sample material.
  • Stack materials on to or off pallets for relocation.
  • Visually inspects materials to ensure that it meets quality standards.
  • Labels materials in to match order requests.
  • Pack sample pieces and relocate them to outbound staging areas.
  • Perform safety checks on work area.
  • Ability to read and understand requirements of a Bill of Materials and Work Order
  • Performs cleanup of area at end of shift.
  • Other duties as requested by management.

What you are good at:

  • Must be an effective team member.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others in the immediate work unit and in related support areas.
  • Ability to view and discern similar colors.
  • Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Successful completion of on-the-job training programs.
  • Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
  • Reads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.

What else:

• Occasionally required to kneel. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout a 10- hour shift.

• Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, walk, sit, and stoop.

• Must be able to work 10-hour shifts either day or night, weekdays, or weekends as scheduled.

• Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations.

• Working conditions include hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and noise.

• Requires standing more than 2/3 of time.
