Position: Marketing Content Expert

Location: Tonawanda, NY

What We Are Looking For

This is an exciting and new opportunity at NOCO. In this role, you will help us expand the NOCO marketing function and be responsible for creating marketing content and thought leadership to support our operations. The Content Expert will work with the marketing team, business subject matter experts, and leadership to create content for marketing campaigns, including press releases, articles, blog posts, longer-form thought leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the marketing team and subject matter experts to develop, draft and/or direct the development of compelling marketing content for external purposes which may include press releases, articles, brochures, whitepapers, market trends, etc.
  • Create audience-centric messages that resonate and foster audience-specific action steps.
  • Effectively project manage content creation from idea generation to promotion-ready version.
  • Write, edit, proof, and research content for sales enablement, social media, website, blogs, articles, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.
  • Work with business-level subject matter experts to understand business offerings and industries and create related content.
  • Utilize content management tools for the production, organization, and aggregation of content.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and make content recommendations to market and drive business.

What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, or related field)
  • Three plus years of experience in content marketing
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise, and easily digestible manner for various audiences
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and the ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines are required
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively, time-management skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and strong organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks demanding of immediate attention, and to juggle multiple, on-going, concurrent responsibilities
  • Organized, great attention to detail, accountability, and self-management skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and maintain results
  • Ability to work autonomously balancing accuracy with timeliness
