Your Role:
The Manufacturing Supervisor willoversee first shift production ata 24 hour, 5 days a week batch chemical manufacturing plant. As a member of the production team, you will lead day-shift production efforts while focusing on team development, training, problem solving, safety compliance, and quality support.
- Ensure daily production goals are supported and met.
- Act as a safety and quality leader for the team.
- Support production team training and development.
- Ability to document safety and quality events.
- Communicate maintenance and production issues.
- Work closely with the maintenance department to ensure equipment reliability.
- Support the entire production team.
- Assist with non-conformances and investigations.
- Shift: 1st Shift
Who You Are:
Basic Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a manager, supervisor in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong team building and people development skills.
- Willingness to be hands-on when needed.
- Ability to understand basic chemistry and process flows
- Applying problem solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills; be able to prioritize and schedule work.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience with using SAP.
- Technical writing skills.
