The Manager, Total Rewards will be accountable for the design and administration of Waystar's compensation and benefits programs. An integral position within the People Team, the role keeps current with compensation and benefits trends to design a total rewards strategy that supports the business objectives. The role will also be responsible for designing and implementing progressive compensation programs and industry leading benefits offerings that align with Waystar's Diversity and Inclusion efforts.

What you'll be doing:

• Expertise in compensation, benefit administration and informed of developments and trends
• Ensure compensation and benefits programs comply with current legislation including human rights and pay equity
• Design compelling Total Rewards strategies to drive attraction and engagement
• Creates and utilizes operational metrics in compensation and benefit plan design, balancing team member relations, liability and expense concerns
• Counsels and advises internal/external partners on strategies and overall effectiveness
• Oversees and manages partnership with key compensation and benefit vendors
• Lead a team of compensation and benefits specialists and support the administration of each program
• Partners with the VP, Total Rewards to lead integration efforts during periods of mergers or acquisitions.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Accounting/Finance, or the equivalent combination of directly related education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant and demonstrated compensation & benefits administration
• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or HR Professional certification is a plus
• Supervisory experience providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and consultative communication skills and ability to interact well with all organizational levels
• Strong analytical, process orientation and solutions oriented
• Strong business and customer focus
• Maintains high ethical standards and maintain upmost confidentiality in organizational matters
