POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide direct financial support to SVP of Operations and his direct reports, including leading analysis for all financial decisions and will work closely with divisional finance counterparts.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

  • Develop an effective operations and production forecasting process, interlinked with a sales forecast, which can be incorporated into the overall Company-wide financial forecasts.
  • Co-pilot development of the Company's annual labor, production, warehouse, and fleet plans, including understanding and transforming current (disparate) processes into a unified one
  • Co-lead monthly operating reviews, including supporting SVP of Operations on the key narrative, insights and drivers affecting results
  • Develop and syndicate new operational analytics, including KPIs for labor, production, warehousing, transport, and supply chain
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses on broad range of operations-related initiatives including capital expenditures, new product / production intake, fleet initiatives, etc.
  • Become an expert user on the planning and forecasting system, Adaptive Insights

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
  • Three (3) to five (5) years in financial support role, preferably in an operating- support role in consumer products or similar industry
  • Degree in Finance or related area of study
  • Exceptional MS Office Skills; Excel and PowerPoint expert
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Intellectually curious
  • Has been successful in prior roles where partnering with senior management is critical
  • Experience leveraging technology to improve processes, create efficiencies and drive insights
  • Self-disciplined, able to perform in an entrepreneurial environment with limited oversight.
  • Very strong work ethic
  • Trustworthy, honest and dependable
