Overview

Support the Litigation Department by developing reports, protocols and tools to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our Staff Counsel and Panel Counsel firms. This role will manage and implement opportunities to improve utilization of our current and future state case management software. The candidate will bring a balance of leadership, technical expertise, vision, creativity and ability to work autonomously. This role requires a solid understanding of the Litigation Departments mission, vision, and values, and must uphold the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with claims, audit, legal and FP&A teams to identify opportunities for improvement in reporting and metrics.
  • Create reports for internal teams in coordination with external service providers.
  • Establish KPI's to measure the effectiveness of business decisions, deliver executive level presentations with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop, refine and implement a monthly staff counsel operational reporting package that for distribution to Senior and Executive leadership.
  • Develop and support all leadership instituted reporting requirements of Staff Counsel Managing Attorneys, such as case inventory reports.
  • Develop and support all reporting needs of Managing Attorneys including gathering requirements, producing/refining reports and revising reports as necessary.
  • Support Litigation Management Unit with ad-hoc analytical requests.
  • Support Litigation Department and FP&A resources as required.
  • Coordinate with FP&A Operational Analytics team to identify/scope requirements for all data required to achieve necessary reporting goals.
  • Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Expert user with Excel, Access, and Power Point
  • Proficient with AmTrust Systems, Team Connect, Legal X, Bottom Line Tools
  • Ability to multitask working in a dynamic work environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional demeanor: ability to interact with Senior leadership members
  • Willingness to travel as required
