We are looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting with a solid foundation of industry and quarterly and annual SEC filing experience. This person will own our financial statement and disclosure preparation, the implementation of our new lease accounting software and assist in developing our ESG reporting and disclosures. The candidate should have experience with the requirement of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and will maintain and complete appropriate controls over financial reporting. They will report to the Director of Accounting and work closely with the general and financial reporting accounting teams and assist in close related activities including analyzing monthly activity and overseeing our debt and lease accounting.   • Own the preparation and review of accurate and timely quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, including the statement of cash flows, statement of stockholder's equity and EPS calculations.
  • Engage with financial reporting team members and cross functional business partners including Product, Legal and FP&A in the preparation of SEC (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) filings.
  • Oversee implementation of new Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and disclosures.
  • Function as a key contact with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Perform assessments of new lease agreements to ensure proper accounting under ASC 842, including working with third parties for updated IBR rate analysis and overseeing implementation of new lease accounting system
  • Monitor our convertible notes for trigger achievement, conversions and proper classification
  • Leverage systems (NetSuite, Workiva, Alteryx) to play a key role in the automation and modernization of accounting processes.
  • Assist in the design and execution of effective controls over financial reporting.
  • Review the accuracy of data included in quarterly earnings releases and other investor materials, including non-GAAP financial information.
  • Assist in month-end closing process, review of journal entries and reconciliations, and analyze fluctuations in operating results.
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA required
  • 6+ years related experience. Including managing teams, ideally in Industry and with financial statement preparation.
  • Accounting and finance software experience preferred (WDesk, NetSuite, Blackline preferred)
  • Remote optional, but hybrid on-site preferred
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and thorough understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting
  • Experience researching and preparing accounting footnotes and disclosures
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication (both written and oral) and collaboration skills required
  • Must be able to prioritize function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many moving pieces
