Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a PSS Sr. Scientist Group Leader to help the client start up a new lab in Cambridge, MA. This position will lead and grow a team of PSS employees as well as support critical analytical method implementation workstreams in support of the client laboratory start-up plan. These workstreams include analytical instrument qualification, critical reagent management, execution of technical protocols, and supporting the implementation of programs and procedures in a new Quality Control laboratory.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Five or more years of experience working in a GMP lab
  • Advanced hands-on experience with various analytical techniques including bioassays, flow cytometry, sequencing, PCR, Mass spec
  • Two or more years of leadership experience
  • Advanced technical writing skills
  • Advanced problem-solving ability
  • Advanced ability to communicate effectively with peers, department management and cross-functional peers
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least three years of experience with analytical techniques
  • At least three years of experience working in a GMP lab environment
  • At least three years of mammalian cell culture experience
  • A minimum of one year leadership experience
  • Scientific knowledge and direct experience with analytical method transfer requirements and processes
  • Ability to work independently in a high-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Scientific field
