Loader, 1st Shift

JOB SUMMARY:
A Loader places cabinets and parts into a trailer using hand dollies and pallet jacks; ensuring that
the load is correct and secure for transport.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Load cabinets into trailers following the Handling, Staging, and Loading requirements
* Packaging cabinets while moving down the assembly line and using strapping machine to
secure box for loading
* Use scanning system to ensure correct components are assembled
* Accurately interpret production labels and scan cabinets and parts
* Occasionally use a pallet jack to move skids of parts for loading
* Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Abilities:


* Ability to follow all handling, staging, and loading (HSL) requirements
* Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
* Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure

Required Education and Experience:


* High school diploma or G.E.D.

Required Physical Ability:


* Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
* Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
