We're growing rapidly and are searching for a Litigation Attorney to support a wide range of functions, including commercial litigation, consumer class action defense, employment law, IP law (patent, copyright, trademark and right of publicity), advertising, trade secret and regulatory action, and more. What you will do as Litigation Attorney:

  • You will manage all phases of pre-litigation and trial; edit motions, pleadings, and other documents filed in court; draft and respond to demand letters; conduct internal investigations and fact gathering; handle all elements of pre-trial discovery; respond to third-party document requests.
  • Attend motions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Identify potential litigation and regulatory risk and counsel our organization to minimize exposure.
  • Review, edit, and draft legal documents.
  • Manage outside counsel and legal invoices.
  • Distill complex legal issues and provide concise, articulate summaries.
  • Perform legal writing and research on a vast array of legal issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership on a variety of legal matters.
  • Some knowledge of laws impacting fantasy sports and regulated gaming is preferred.
What Skills You'll Bring:
  • Ideally, you have a minimum of 5 years practicing law and litigating cases.
  • You have at least 4 years of experience at an AM100 law firm and/or in-house at a company.
  • You have a Juris Doctorate and very strong academic credentials.
  • You're an active member in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar or you have the ability to be admitted as in-house counsel in Massachusetts.
  • You have a strong work ethic, a sense of accountability, and impeccable integrity.
  • You have the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • You thrive working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in patent, trademark, and copyright law, as well as employment, privacy and securities law is a plus.
