Life Science Research Professional 1 🔍School of Medicine, Stanford, California, United StatesNew📁Research📅8 hours ago Post Date📅103130 Requisition #Stanford University is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to perform basic functions and activities involved in generating cancer cell models from patient-derived tissue, as part of the Stanford Cancer Model Development Center, and independently conduct and analyze experiments. We seek a dynamic person to join our group unraveling the role for neuro-glia stem cells in human brain diseases including brain tumors. Our neuroscience-based lab uses a variety of single cell and life imaging techniques, including RNA seq, ATAC seq, live cell imaging, including TIRF, FRAP/FRET. We use methods to analyze neuro-glia stem cell interactions with the brain immune landscape, including mass cytometry and behavioral assays to study long-term neuro-cognitive effects of brain tumor therapies targeting neuro-glia stem cells. The LSRP1 will perform basic functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct and analyze experiments and help with general lab organization.
