Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Lab Manager for a great company located in Durham, NC!

This is full time and 100% onsite.

Looking for an individual who wants a long term home!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $30-45/hour depending on experience and qualifications

Details/Duties:

Be able to do the technician's role and train techs in it: Including batching, filling product, online notebook, shipping coordination, running stability program.

Admin for Tech hires. Manage techs work schedule. Manage incoming requests from scientists and interns.

In charge of establishing and enforcing safety rules and maintaining safety equipment and supplies in the lab. Includes Safety Plan documentation, training of scientists, technicians, interns, and conducting audits

In charge of monitoring, ordering, organizing lab consumables and supplies

Maintain and calibrate all laboratory instruments and equipment. Document procedures, train scientist, technicians, and interns, trouble shoot issues, coordinate with outside vendors for PM, calibration and repair.

Maintain stock of Common raw, organize all raw materials, maintain online inventory and in lab labeling. Source transport of raw materials from plant to Hill. Training of scientists, technicians, interns in use of inventory system. Promote chemical safety.

Responsible for maintaining lab space, side storage room, packaging lab. Hire outside vendors for repairs and improvements.

Manage the lab waste and recycling programs for both non hazardous and hazardous waste.
