Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Resource to support EHS (Eagle Harbor Solutions) and our government customer in Mechanicsburg, PA. This is a Remote position.

Position Overview:

Eagle Harbor is looking for an experienced Versitalist Knowledge Management resource with functional and technical capabilities to provide continued support to the Hazardous Inventory Control System (HICS) team.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain relationship with key mission partners to ensure delivery, development, and operation of HICs.
  • Ability to maintain a strong knowledge base of the functional capabilities of the various areas and products within HICS to provide business analyst support to the team.
  • Identifying, defining, or modifying interfaces with other systems/applications, ensuring agreements are, formally, documented with the interfacing system/application.
  • Determine the feasibility of design alternatives, translate systems requirements into application prototypes and develop problem resolutions.
  • Effectively facilitate scrum and Agile events and practices.
  • Recommend the use of recognized standard system engineering best practices.
  • Perform evaluation of new technology tools/methodologies, supporting application engineering, and provide technical advice.
  • Provide application engineering perspective when interfacing with Mission
  • Ability to analyze/refine systems requirements, determine and design system/application architecture, write/debug/maintain code (using the HICS/SOA defined software development processes) and develop/maintain system/application documentation.
  • Perform functions relating to design, software engineering/programming (create/maintain source code) and unit testing, and maintenance of assigned
  • Ability to manage hazardous materials through assisting in analysis, specification development and application development for the Hazardous Inventory Control System (HICs).
  • Propose a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) solution containing features that provide initial capability to the end-user while also encouraging end-users to provide feedback to influence future development sprints.
  • Identify all tasks required to, successfully, complete each story and document in ADS.
  • Show traceability and dependencies between requirements (Epics, Themes, Stories, and Tasks) and systems in ADS.
  • Coordinate all activities (analysis, design, development, testing and deployment) required to complete each story as defined in the Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done.
  • Provide the full range of System/Software Development Lifecycle activities to include requirements, analysis, design, development, test, security, and deployment.
  • Ensure complete transparency and log all activities in the Enterprise Platform, Azure

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Security Plus Certification (If candidate currently does not possess, will need to obtain immediately upon hire).
  • Mission Partner / Stakeholder Requirements Gathering (4 Years preferred)
  • System Design / Documentation (4 Years preferred)
  • Interface Design / Documentation (4 Years preferred)
  • Afloat System Architecture (2 Years preferred)
  • DoD Supply & Logistics Processes (4 Years preferred)
  • DoD Supply & Logistics Systems (4 Years preferred)
  • Process Modelling (4 Years preferred)
  • System Integration (4 Years preferred)
  • Data Modelling (4 Years preferred)
  • Agile Development Methodologies (2 Years preferred)
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
