A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) invites applications for a lead rotation site coordinator on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The individual in this position will provide support to the Regional Associate Dean/Director of Student Medical education (DSME) at the region site to schedule and track KCOM clinical curriculum (years 3 and 4) through hospital and preceptor offices. The individual will also communicate with preceptors, facilities and students to confirm all student activities, monitor assessments and verify graduation requirements are complete.
Major Job Duties:

  • Prepare and generate quarterly reimbursement reports and check requests as appropriate.
  • Prepare letters of good standing/malpractice coverage.
  • Answer questions of students regarding rotations (place, time, date, requirements, etc.).
  • Prepare applications and required paperwork for rotations.
  • Serve as first line of communication for medical students regarding rotations, concerns, or problems and direct students to appropriate administration for resolution.
  • Maintain database of active preceptors for medical students and administration.
  • Provide listing of active preceptors for annual preceptor recognition.
  • Assist with planning and organization of education day activities for students.
  • Facilitate scheduling and proctor post-rotation exams.
  • Ensure completion of clinical evaluation forms, logs, and monitor completion of assessment documents.
  • Generate required reports related to assigned students.
  • Prepare and generate quarterly reimbursement reports and check requests as appropriate.
  • Provide site-specific information for campus publications and site tours/orientation as requested.
  • Attend monthly on-line conference meetings and attend the annual conference.
Skills/Requirements:
  • The individual in this position will be a problem solver, possess strong communication and technology skills.
  • Leadership experience and Medical Education experience desired.
  • A bachelor's in business/management or related, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field.
