Our Client is seeking a IT Security Analyst/Engineer in Irving, TX.

Role Description

We are looking for a very technical hands-on person to join our team as an IT Security Analyst/Engineer. This person should be able to work independently in a very fast pace environment

Responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and monitoring of various IT Security appliances. The analyst will also be assisting in the enforcement of the corporate IT security policies.

• Work on various projects to support or enhance the overall security posture of the company as it continues its growth
• Provide on-call support as needed for any potential security incident.
• Assist in the various yearly audits (PCI, SOC)
• Assist in the creation or modification of security policies as needed

Skills & Requirements

• Deep technical knowledge of network infrastructure and design. Must understand routing protocols, various network protocols/ports, and configuration of network routers/switches.
• Hands-on experience with various firewall technologies.
• Must know the various cyber security attack vectors
• Experience in IDS/IPS technologies
• Knowledge of malware/virus mitigation strategies
• Experience with patch management technologies and strategies
• Must understand Active Directories from a security viewpoint
• Familiar with the following security technologies: SIEMS, Muli-factor authentication, Vulnerability scanners, SFTP, NAC, VPN, Web filtering, port security, 802.1x
• Familiar with mobile security
• Email security (Spam filtering, encryption)
• Familiar with PCI DSS, HIPPA, and other industry regulations
• File Integrity and DLP technologies
• Huge bonus if you have an application development background and understand application security and its development
