Description: Our client is currently seeking a IT Project Manager

Brief Description:

The IT Project Manager owns the initiation, planning, communication, delivery and overall implementation of a project. They are responsible for managing the budget, scope, schedule, risks, issues and resources of a project.

Requirements:

•Degree in Project Management or an equivalent combination of education & experience

•Minimum of 5 years of project management experience working in a technical environment

•Must be detail orientated and able to take a job to successful conclusion

•Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and able to perform multiple tasks

•Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals

•Ability to manage and align various project stakeholders

•Must be flexible on work hours

Desired experience/skills

•2-years' experience in agile/scrum methodology

•Understanding of software development lifecycle disciplines

General Project Management Skills

•Support business need

•Clearly establish scope, schedule, budget

•Clear understanding of the Business Case and Business Value

•Ensure Business understanding of solution

•Sense of ownership - drive deliverables and commitments

•Effective Communicator - to Business, IT, PMO, Management, etc.

•Able to develop a comprehensive and realistic project plan

•Proactive management to reduce impacts to schedule and budget

•Appropriate sense of urgency and escalation with priorities, issues, risks

•Maintains holistic project management - budget, quality, resources, risks, change management

•Shows commitment, competence and integrity in achieving project goals

•Adoption and mastery of established Company best practices and tools
