Job Description:
This IT Application Developer Position will provide a range of software analysis, configuration, development, and implementation activities utilizing the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) and OnBase (ECM) software sets within the State's IT environment. This individual will perform activities to support and maintain OBI and ECM solutions for various agencies within the State under the guidance of Senior and Lead Developers.
Job duties
An IT Applications Developer will consult, configure, and deploy agency solutions using the State's OBI and ECM platforms. This individual will also be providing assistance within the following areas:
- Consulting with customers on application issues.
- Information collection, and preparing the business problem definition
- Solution and report development and evaluation
- System Design and implementation
- Development and delivery of training
- Development and delivery of support material
- Logical and physical database design
- Creating and managing test data
These job duties will be performed in conjunction with other senior team members while using the tools in the OBI and ECM environments.
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Experience, education, or training in coding computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience using the OnBase platform, SQL Data Base, Object Oriented technology, .NET programming and VB scripting.
Other: Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Hours: 8-5, Monday - Friday.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Candidates must be service oriented, have strong interpersonal and analytical skills that include working directly with various levels of business and technical staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements. Candidate must have strong technical, organization, and planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills are a must.
