A national law firm located in the heart of Washington, DC, specializing in Intellectual Propery Litigation is looking to hire a Legal Secretary to join their tenured team.

Responsibilities:

• Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support to our litigation attorneys to ensure the efficient operation of our legal practice.
• Document Management: Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision and attention to detail.
• Calendar Management: Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and keep everyone organized.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our legal staff to maintain a seamless workflow and deliver exceptional client service.
• Record Keeping: Organize and maintain case files and client records to keep information readily accessible.
• Communication: Handle incoming calls and warmly greet clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
• Technology: Utilize legal software and tools to stay organized and enhance efficiency.
• Go-To Support: Become the trusted point person for administrative matters within the litigation team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous legal secretary or paralegal experience in intellectual property litigation, is required.
• Tech Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software is essential.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulously spot and correct errors in documents.
• Multitasking: Comfortably manage multiple tasks while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative, professional environment.
