Roles and Responsibilities:

Job DescriptionAmericas Cleared Margins Middle Office requires a motivated, experienced individual with proven client facing skills in the financial services industry to join a team which performs high-quality account margin management responsibilities for a number of key institutional relationships including asset managers, hedge funds and commodities traders in regards to their operational / post execution / strategic servicing requirements. Summary of ResponsibilitiesClient Liaison, Education & AdviceAccount Margin Discrepancy ManagementClearing Technology SupportMargining of Client Accounts for Cash & SecuritiesProactive Approach to Client Account Management (including MIS analysis)Project Work Skills and QualificationsGeneral Cleared Derivatives -- F&O/Cleared Swaps (OTC) -- industry knowledgeDetailed F&O/OTC exchange / product knowledge for global markets across all asset classesProven skills in delivering a professional face to our clients and taking ownership of issues through to closureExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across multiple functional units and seniority levelsAbility to identify process improvementsStrong communication skillsAbility to work accurately and effectively under pressureStrong time management skillsStrong PC & Industry application skills (e.g. GMI) Skills: Client Facing/Middle office experience is required. Must be comfortable with taking ownership of client interaction and BAU tasks and operate relatively independently in a short time (2-3 weeks). This role also requires the ability to pivot between different types of work constantly in a fast paced environment. Must be able to manage relationships with operations teams and front office both internal and external.Specific experience in cleared derivatives (OTC/F&O) Margin analysis and settlement highly preferred.Ideal if prior experience was at a U.S. broker dealer / Futures Commissions Merchant (FCM).
