Job Description

The HR intern's duties include data entry, filing HR documents, screening resumes, initiating background checks on candidates, and giving recommendations to improve HR policies. You should also be able to work independently, work in MS office, and have interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties

1. Handle project management and employee relations within the human resources department.
2. To design employee company events and increase morale.
3. To work with the team on personnel files, track progress, and use MS office for HR functions.
4. Post job advertisements on job boards and social media platforms.
5. Assist the HR staff in filling out employment forms and gathering market salary information.
6. Assist in organizing company events.
7. Send job offers and rejection letters to candidates.
8. Participate in the Employee Recognition Committee and Safety Committee.
9. Respond to the HR team, employee benefits, and other Human Resources related matters.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in HRM or studying toward a degree in Human Resources or related field.
2. Minimum one year's experience of working in an office environment.
3. Basic understanding of labor laws.
4. Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
6. Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
7. Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
9. Effective communication skills.
