(Contingent upon available funding): 18.00 - 20.25, Hourly Work Schedule: Typically 8 hrs/day, 5 days/week Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Job Summary: 
Support the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM)'s Enrollment Management department by contributing to communication, marketing and recruitment efforts to prospective high school students, counselors, teachers, parents, and appropriate internal and external populations. Assist in developing and implementing outreach programs, including email campaigns, events, promotional material, and social media with OSU-CHS Marketing. Create and execute recruitment events on and off campus. Work within the office's database to track and measure communication outreach efforts. Plan and implement strategies to create awareness of OSU-COM and retain students for a seamless transition to the college recruitment team. Create and present presentations to high school students, high school staff and parents. Assist the department with managing prospective student data in Slate. Provide support in carrying out admissions and recruitment initiatives as assigned. Collaborate with the External Affairs department to provide COM activities at high school events. Assist in representing COM at high school-related events/fairs and other events as needed. Comfortable with giving presentations to student or parent advisements to answer COM-related questions. Work with the student ambassador program to request assistance for related COM events. Will require in-state and limited out-of-state travel to high schools. Prepare and submit monthly reports. Assume all other reasonable professional duties as assigned.

-Be innovative Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience incommunications or health-related work (e.g., CNA, MA)
- Limited in-state and out-of-state travel. 
- Valid Driver's License 
 
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:

- Excellent writing skills, flexible and ability to adapt to changes at any given moment
- Strong verbal communication and technical skills 
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail are essential
- Must be able to work independently as well in team environment, be self-motivated, be able to set prioritize, work well under pressure, and possess excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to project a positive and professional attitude in person, on the telephone, and in correspondence

Preferred:
- Experience in Higher Ed, particularly admissions and recruitment
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management or other data management systems (experience with Slate would be ideal)
