Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide business and financial support for the Hangar Operation Center (HOC)

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

1. Plan and review with Project Manager accomplishments on the project planned versus actual for each shift previous as well as the upcoming planned 24-hour period
2. Update Project Manager daily of the following:
a. Planned man-hour on the aircraft that day
b. Man-hours expended on previous day plan versus actual and variance
c. Percentage of routine and non-routine items open and completed
d. Areas that may affect the release date of the aircraft to include parts, engineering, and lengthy elapsed time work orders
e. All items which exceed or are approaching their estimates
f. Non-routine items identified in order of priority, which require estimates from the Maintenance Supervisor
3. The incumbent will control, with assistance from the Supervisor, the aircraft visibility work boards and/or work booths indicating the work remaining and work in process
4. Be completely aware of and clearly communicate the progression of all work on the aircraft and how it interfaces with all skills
5. Monitor budget daily to ensure the budget is being maintained
6. Ensure T&M items are within estimated hours daily
7. Review tallied items daily for completion, overruns, and part usage daily and close items as required
8. Prepare financial overviews for the Project Manager, DOM, GM (trend analysis on delivery, cost, safety, quality, and cycle time)
9. Assist the Project Manager in billing the service order within the 5-day goal after the aircraft departure
10. Obtain customer approval on original, additional and/or revised estimates to accomplish maintenance on customer's aircraft and components and manage OASIS with assistance from the Manager
11. Assist Manager with billing the service order within the 5-day goal after the aircraft departure
12. Communicate with onsite customers and assist with customer needs

Qualifications

MINMUM:

  1. Five (5) + years' experience performing as an accomplished aircraft mechanic with progression of responsibilities, or have previous Planning Supervisory experience, or 1 year previously demonstrated ability within HAECO
  2. Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  3. High School diploma or equivalent required
  4. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English


PREFERRED :
  1. A/P Certification
  2. Aviation or Business Degree
