To propel growth, we seek a visionary Group Leader for our Fuel Cell (FC) Technologies. In this role, lead a dynamic team, driving FC advancements for various on-and-off-road end-use applications. Spearhead strategic initiatives, guide the team through research, development, and simulation, aligning with sustainability goals. Objectives of this Role:

  • Lead and inspire a dynamic team to drive innovation in Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) research, development, and simulation for on-road, off-road, and stationary applications.
  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for advancing FCEV technologies, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and industry standards.
  • Spearhead collaborative initiatives with internal and external stakeholders to stay at the forefront of advancements in fuel cell technology and contribute to industry leadership.
  • Efficiently manage projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and adherence to quality standards in the development and testing of FCEV technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing within the team, promoting professional development and positioning the organization as a leader in sustainable mobility solutions.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with team members to oversee daily tasks, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor ongoing projects, track progress, and address any immediate issues to maintain efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
  • Communication: Engage in regular communication with team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to facilitate a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Assist staff in setting performance goals consistent with the group's strategy and members' long-term career goals. Provide feedback to address performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop a vision and implement a cohesive group research strategy to ensure the success of new and ongoing research projects to position the group for future success.
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Engineering degree related to Energy & Sustainability.
  • 5-8 years: Experience testing automotive components (i.e. internal combustion engine, transmissions, electric motors) in a research, calibration, durability or development environment.
  • 2-5 years: Experience managing technical teams.
  • 2-5 years: Experience with hydrogen PEM fuel cell systems.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
