This role reports to Global Commercial Operations (GCO), a part of the Finance and Global Business Services (GBS) family enabling function. GCO strategically partners with AstraZeneca's global brand and Local Marketing Company (MC) teams to create capacity, enhance the capability, and drive results using repeatable shared services.

As a Global Content Delivery Associate Manager (GCDAM), you will report to the Global Delivery Director and support global brand teams in Gaithersburg, MD, Wilmington, DE, and Cambridge, England. This role is accountable for partnering with the global brand teams to establish clear processes and ways of working, as well as establish and reinforce GCO as a trusted partner by developing a clear understanding of brand strategy, identifying opportunities for content creation, and proactively providing solutions. This role requires working with cross-functional teams, including global external healthcare marketing agencies of record and production partners, to plan and deliver a comprehensive range of content effectively, with a growing focus on content for Omnichannel campaigns that cover the end-to-end customer lifecycle.

A key remit of the GCDAM role is accountability for Content Centre, a central content repository, a digital asset management platform, and a flagship service offered by the Global Content team in Global Commercial Operations (GCO). You will be expected to advocate for the consistent use of the Content Centre by stakeholders and maintain the integrity of content uploaded to the platform.

Major Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement

  • Acts as an advocate for Content Centre and ensures the latest Content Centre offerings and initiatives are communicated to stakeholders
  • Partners with global brand teams to understand the content pipeline and ensure all reusable assets are pulled through to Content Centre for use by local markets
  • Collaborates with production partners to facilitate the successful completion of all projects on or ahead of schedule
  • Identifies opportunities for content creation through our Content and Production Studio to support global brand teams
  • Provides standardized reporting to global brands teams and identifies trends and areas of potential focus

Agency Engagement
  • Lead the onboarding of new global brand team members and marketing agencies to ensure they understand our Global Content offering and adhere to Content Centre's ways of working

Content Delivery
  • Strives for high quality, fast speed, and low cost while ensuring excellent service
  • Provides accurate and timely project status updates for stakeholders
  • Liaises closely with cross-functional teams to provide awareness of the content and ensures promotion and uptake of content at a local market level

Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma with eight plus years experience in marketing, brand planning, or an advertising agency
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Project management abilities with experience managing complex and concurrent projects
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Background
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
  • Experience working with a collaboration/external partner
  • Experience working in a digital agency
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and produce results in a matrix environment: "Lead without Authority."
