Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Genesis Associate Product Manager will participate in the planning, development and integration of new customer focused programs, products and innovations within the Genesis Program. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate customer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape, to help design and implement program offerings that drive maximal value to our hospital care teams. This role requires a unique blend of business and operational acumen to work within cross functional teams to incorporate Genesis program principles across Intuitive products and services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop customer resources that improve care team engagement available through the Genesis program.
  • Deliver valuable programs that improve the care team customer experience with Intuitive products including the design, development, publication and delivery of program solutions and manage these products in all stages of the product lifecycle in collaboration with customers and internal colleagues.
  • Develop and deliver education and change management required to drive adoption of new Genesis initiatives within Genesis and commercial teams.
  • Engage with management and executive level customers through a variety of channels to capture "voice of customer" feedback to inform new program and product development.
  • Expand the reach of Genesis program principles by focusing on scalability strategies within IDN, and multi-system fleet customers
  • Partner with teammates and stakeholders to inform and contribute to development roadmaps, prioritize business objectives
  • Research new and emerging technologies in healthcare management & operational process improvement identifying potential applications to meet business needs

Qualifications

Skills/Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required, Masters' degree in healthcare or business related studies preferred
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in healthcare or customer facing medical device role
  • Proven expertise in managing change initiatives, or other healthcare process improvement consulting
  • Experience in using business data, customer feedback and market analysis to develop product requirements that meet the needs of complex healthcare organizations
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and customers in business and healthcare roles
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer facing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in using clinical and/or business literature to evaluate practices; use of evidence based principles to determine best course of action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to various healthcare, technical, business stakeholder, and leadership audiences
  • Ability to independently operate and lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
